The Rating View contains information about the influence of the background noise to the receiving room levels.
The help content changes based on context. Tap the ? symbol to access help for a specific view or menu.

Display Layout

This view uses a split display with a spectrum L(f) on top of a numerical table.

The active panel (chart) is of blue color while the other panel is grey. Tap on a panel to activate it.

There is a header line showing the selected standard, if available the source position and a possible warning message.

The function name is supplemented with the corresponding colour and the selected frequency band.

L2: average sound pressure level in the receiving room.
L2': average sound pressure level in the receiving room corrected for background noise.
Lb: average sound level pressure level of the background noise in the receiving room.
Corr: applied correction values according to the standard.

Spectrum presentation

You are now looking at different averaged level spectrum used for background noise corrections.

If the rating is based on rating results of the individual source positions (e.g. ISO 16283) then no total background corrections are available, only the individual ones.

Use the # soft button to switch the source position.

Tap and drag vertically on the graph to change the visible range.

Press and hold anywhere on the graph to bring up the context menu or press the large ü button
Zoom (X-axis): X-axis zoom function
Range (Y-axis): Modifies the dB scale
Auto Range: Autscaling Y-Axis

Table presentation

The table presents the numerical values from the spectrum graph above.

Each line consists of the frequency band (Frequency), level average(s) (L1, L2') and the reverberation times (T).

If the rating is based on rating results of the individual source positions (e.g. ISO 16283) then no total background corrections are available, only the individual ones.

Use the # soft button to switch the source position.

Report
Report

Tap to toggle between the different data types (Reverberation, Receiving, Source, Background and Rating).

Source position
#

Tap to toggle between source positions (#A...#D).

The displayed results are based on the corresponding source position data.

Tabular representation
TBL

Press to toggle between spectrum and tabular view.

Note: It not only turns a graph into a table but it also changes the dual type frame into a single type (and vice versa).

Saving a project
MEM

This button gives access to the memory menu.

- If the current project is not saved, you will be prompted to save the project with a new name.

- If the measurement is already saved, or no measurement is open, you will have a list of projects to select from.

To begin a new project, please press the X key on the keyboard.
