It is a good idea to give your instrument a unique name!
You can change the name as often as you want. If the instrument is currently monitoring the noise level in a garage, you can
call the instrument "Garage". The measurements will be stored under a folder with the same name.It is wise to keep the name short.
15 characters is recommended for a Nor145.
USB - Windows Explorer:
If you connect the instrument to the PC via the micro USB socket and open Windows Explorer you will see the instrument appear
in the Computer drive list after a few seconds.
TCP/IP - Using "ftp"-client:
Connect the instrument to the Local Area Network and key in "ftp:\\'InstrumentName'" in the address field. Then the
memory of your Nor145 will appear on the PC screen. There is a good idea to have different names on instruments that
might appear in the same Local Area Network.
When the instrument is shipped from the fabric it will have the name 'Nor145' followed by the serial number, i.e. Nor14530402.
