Setup Usb communication

Setup at instrument (Nor150). Check and change the following:

  1. Go to Setup -> Instrument -> Communication -> USB
  2. Select Normal
  3. Select static IP with address: 10.150.150.1 and Sub mask 255.0.0.0
  4. Leave menu with accept and restart 150
  5. After restart, connect USB cable to PC

Setup at PC:

Run this utility (NB! Remember to connect the USB cable between PC and instrument before you start): The program require Administration rights and will try to set the correct IP for USB communication. If this fails, you have to follow the steps below.

  1. Go into "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections". To find this, you may also search in start menu for "View Network Connections".
  2. In the dialog box, right click "Local Area Connection" or your LAN adapter and select properties for Nor150 Usb:
  3. Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and right click at "Properties"
  4. Select property for IPv4 setup - Select IP address 10.150.150.150 and Sub mask 255.0.0.0.

  5. Select OK from all menues and unplug and plug in the USB cable
