Different transducer types can be connected to this analyzer. It is of course necessary that the physical connection is adequate. Transducers will not work properly before the physical and electrical specifications are fulfilled and set correctly.
The Nor145 support three kind of inputs:
Microphones
Vibration sensors
Line input
To measure sound pressure level, microphones are the obvious choice.
For measurement of low-frequency vibrations, the Nor145 offers the ability to connect vibration sensors. Please contact Norsonic or one of our qualified service centres to get more information about recommended transducer types.
For some applications, analysis of a line signal might be usefull. The instrument supports a line input ranging up to 10V peak-to-peak.
The Nor1225 is a traditional condenser microphone with preamplifier Nor1209.
