The Nor150 has a dedicated keyboard. The most used functions are always available at one press of a button. Modify Display The keys have backlight. The backlight is adjusted from the factory to work well in low light conditions. There is also a time-out function that will reduce or switch off the keyboard backlight. Touch the screen and the backlight will be switched on again. You can prevent the keyboard backlight from lighting up (in the Instrument menu) and thereby saving battery power.
Arrow buttons Up, Down, Left and Right moves the cursor or value in the desired direction.
Enter button Enter (green V) accepts current selections. In the measurement windows the Enter key will open the context menu.
Cancel button Cancel (red X) rejects last selections and exits the menu.
Start Stop button Starts and stops the measurement sequence.
Pause Continue button controls the measurement sequence accordingly.
SETUP gives access to the main menu system.
VIEW button steps through the sequence of views.
TBL button toggels to show the selected results numerically or graphically.
FUNC button allows you to select the displayed functions in a sequence.
INFO button shows extended information about the current status and activity.
MEM button allows you to store and load measurements and setups.
CAL button brings you to the calibration menu.
On Off button Push this button down to turn the power On or Off.
Some of the keyboard buttons (e.g. Start, Stop, Pause, Continue) are also sometimes available in the display for making it easy for you to operate. And these on-screen buttons are noiseless.
An on-screen keyboard (alpha or numeric) is available / displayed in several menus. This is for entering information, numbers and texts, that you cannot key in with the front panel keyboard. Tap on the screen to edit texts and numbers, and terminate the sequence with the OK softbutton.
